After last nights impressive performance against Real Madrid Lewandowski showed why teams like Manchester United have been keeping tabs on him by scoring four goals against a very talented Real Madrid side.

Dortmund won on the night 4-1 and seem like strong favourites to go through thanks to some good goals from Lewandowski including a penalty.

After all the media hype he is getting it has been reported that his agent has said that the polish striker has already agreed to leave Dortmund to another team.

Bayern Munich are favourite to have agreed the deal with as 1/4 favourites after securing a deal with another one of Dortmund’s stars Gotze for £32 million but Manchester United have been keeping tabs on him for a while but having Van Persie means they wont be too eager to pick him up. Also Juventus have emerged as contenders to get the striker but are 25/1 and outsiders to have agreed the deal.

The nominations for player of the year have been made. They include Suarez, Van Persie, Bale, Mata, Carrick and Hazard respectively and we are certain that the first four their should be there. Both Carrick and Hazard are there respectively but it could have easily been Carzola, Baines and Michu included in the 6.

Bale Goes into this as strong favourite as he has shown the best form in recent months when the voting began and both Van Persie and Suarez have had a small dip in form when it matters but overall Suarez has had the best form all season compared to bale who had a slow start.

Mata has been very influential to chelsea and has been known as the guy that makes things tick for them along with some great goals and some impressive passing.

Hazard has also been good but has gone in and out of form but has been very impressive since his arrival at chelsea.

Carrick who is not the most indidual player is there because of his consisatency and how well he plays in the middle of the park. He dictates the pace of most games and controls them.

It looks like Bale will take it home because of how individual his goals are with some magnificent strikes and

Arsenal Vs Everton: Matchday Preview

Apr 15, 2013   //   by markus   //   News  //  Comments Off

Were all getting a nice treat on Tuesday night as Arsenal host Everton in a game that is sure to be pivotal in the race for a champions league spot and points from both teams will be equally as important as Arsenal look to build a gap from the London rivals Chelsea and Tottenham who sit in 4th and 5th respectively.

Arsenal have had the easiest run of games recently and have picked up maximum points but have been extremely lucky against West Brom and Norwich and have to thank the lines man who controversially changed the game in the favour of Arsenal by giving them a corner that was not a corner and by giving them a penalty when both parties where fouling and the defending party should have been given the benefit of the doubt but luck only lasts so long and they are going to need some if they are to beat a very well drilled Everton side.

Everton are the dark horses to get a champions league spot and a win at arsenal will increase their chances dramatically and go into this game on a good run of form and have also seen the return of two very special players in Fellaini and Pienaar who have impressed all season.

This game will be tight with two very evenly matched sides so we are going to go with a 2-2 draw.
