Italy Vs Brazil : International Preview

Mar 21, 2013   //   by markus   //   News  //  Comments Off

For tonight’s Thursday football we have a treat as Brazil will be taking on Italy for the friendly international match. With both teams gifted with plenty of talent.

Italy Euro 2012 finalist’s have developed a fine team mixed with youth and experience and really do play the Italian way. They have a really good player in Pirlo who has proven for club and country that he can really boss a game and control the pace and tempo. Also they have a striker who has been in rich form in Balotelli since joining for AC Milan and he also proved himself at the Euro’s what a great asset he can be when he’s on his game.

Brazil have got a very youthful team but still have a few experiences players in Ronaldinho who gets the odd game but all eyes will be on Neymar who has built up a huge hype in Brazil attracting some of Europe’s elite teams but was very disappointing in the game against England when he was just easily muscled of the ball.

We think Italy’s defensive qualities will win them this game in which they can counter and maybe get a goal or two we predict a 1-0 Italy win.

San Marino Vs England : Match preview

As we enter the International Break we turn our attention to England who face two teams during the break San Marino who sit at the bottom of the table with zero points and Montenegro who sit at the top of the table with 10 points.

England themselves sit in second with 8 points respectively 2 points of Montenegro and will aim to pick up 6 points in the two games and move up to first spot as it will be expected as England are ranked higher than the rest of the team. Rooney is likely to be in the team and either Sturridge or Welbeck will start up front. Aaron Lennon who has been in good form all season will miss out on both games. Rio Ferdinand has pulled out after being picked after missing out on the Euros due to his detailed pre training plan that helps him manage his back problem.

We predict that England will pick up the 6 points and on paper they really should but this is England and can be rather disappointing at times.

Everton Vs Manchester City : Match day Preview

This week we bring you to Goodison Park where an Everton team who have faded out of the champions league place hopefuls list host a Manchester City who have recently picked up some Form that they where missing who sit in Second.

Everton have faded out a little bit in recent games most noticeably the 3-0 defeat they suffered from Wigan in the F.A Cup in which they where at home. They still have great starting 11 but a dip in form has seen them fall behind in the chase for a champions league spot. Jelavic has also been out of form this season missing plenty of sitter that arguably he would have finished last season but what better way to motivate yourself than have the England Champions at your front door trying to take 3 points. I would expect players will push themselves harder in this game because of the nature of the opponents and how good they are and what it would be like to take 3 points from them.

Manchester City have recently picked up Form with wins against Chelsea and Aston Villa but on Saturday they face a well drilled Everton team not like Chelsea and Villa who play more open and allow you to attack. Teves has also shown that he is worthy of a regular first team start will expect to be starting on Saturday along with Toure who has found some form scoring against Chelsea with a lovely finesse shot.

Manchester City will go into this as strong favourites but i think a well drilled Everton team will manage to get a draw out of this.

Liverpool Vs Tottenham: Match day Preview

This week in the Barclay’s Premiership the game of the week will bring us to Anfield where an improved Liverpool host an in-form Tottenham.

Liverpool have really improved from the start of the season where they started with an inconsistency where they would win one week and lose the next week but since Daniel Sturridge has come into the team they have been playing some wonderful football and have been able to allow Suarez to continue to keep his great scoring record and arguably one of the best players in the league this season.

Tottenham will be on a high following a great win against their rivals Arsenal in a game that was one on defence in which they proved they are a very compact and tightly drilled unit. They play inter Milan tonight and a result against them will boost their confidence even more going into the Liverpool game this Sunday in which they have a chance to reduce the gap to Man city and increase the gap from Chelsea and Arsenal temporarily. Lastly Gareth Bales fine form is a threat for any team in the world and if Liverpool give him room he will punish them.

This is a tightly matched game but with Tottenham’s winning mentality we think they might just edge it and with the importance of the game for them they need to win it.
