Tottenham Vs Arsenal : Derby Day

Feb 28, 2013   //   by markus   //   News  //  Comments Off

This week we bring our attention to White Hart Lane where Tottenham host their arch rivals Arsenal with a 4 point gap between the two in the race for a champions league spot.

Tottenham managed to push themselves into 3rd position on Monday night when they dramatically came from 2-1 behind to finish 3-2 with a 30 yard wonder goal from the in form Gareth Bale who  has proved to be one of the best footballer just behind Ronaldo and Messi at a tender age of 23 and is sure to be on alot of rich teams wish list when we go into the summer. The quality of goals Gareth has scored in the last 6 to 7 games have been top quality but these goals have taken the attention of the whole team with Tottenham being suggested to be a one-man team which is hard to believe since the whole team has put in a shift in the defensive side and attacking, also with Dembele showing he can be the difference in our 1-1 draw with Lyon.

Arsenal have been disappointing outside the league with a cup exit losing to Blackburn 1-0  and a 3-1 defeat to Bayern in the champions league which looks to be other however they have maintained their position in the league and are still in a strong position to push for a champions league spot  with a easier run of games compared to Tottenham and still have quality players in Wilshere, Carzola, and Walcott.

This Derby has always been Entertaining but we think Tottenham will edge it as they are hungry for the win after their 5-2 defeat at the emirates after staring well but having a man sent of destroyed their chances of winning.

Champions League: Who Will Reach the Final?

Feb 15, 2013   //   by markus   //   News  //  Comments Off

After the first four games of the champions league were played this week we got an insight this week of who could potentially reach the final.

First of Barcelona are our firm favourites to reach the final as they have the status of being the best team in the world but this competition has shown that this competition can be unpredictable as was shown last year when Chelsea beat the likes of Barca and Bayern undeserving  based on possession and shots on target but this year some new challengers have emerged in Juventus who I personally think can go the whole way who are sitting first in their league and have a 3-0 advantage over their opponents Celtic. But I have been impressed with Juventus’ Passing play and how well they have the balance between defending and attacking.

Also as this looks like the last year for Jose Mourinho and he would love to pick up this trophy but he faces a tough challenge by going to old Trafford with a 1-1 score line. The game could go either way obviously real will be Favourites but united have shown that they can defend well against this team and make some very good opportunities.

We think it will be a Juventus Vs Barcelona Final just like the Euros Spain Vs Italy.
