Champions League Draw: Ronaldo Returns

Dec 20, 2012   //   by markus   //   News  //  Comments Off

The Draw took place at 10:44 this morning and what a draw it was, the two remaining English sides in the competition got arguably the hardest games.

Galatasaray v Schalke – First out of the pot and both teams will fancy there chances for this one so it should shape up to be a very good game potentially end to end football if were lucky.

Celtic v Juventus – Neil Lennon’s Boys have a huge task against the Italian giants but Celtic’s record against the Italians is surprisingly good but Juventus are a very good side and are sure to be favourites for this one.

Arsenal v Bayern Munich – This is a really tough tie for Arsenal and I’m sure this was one of the teams they were hoping to avoid. Bayern have a lot of strength and depth and have shown that in there league as they are 9 points clear at the top. Bayern Munich are strong favourites.

Shakhtar v Dortmund – Dortmund have shown they are a force reckoned with as they top the group of death beating both Real Madrid and Manchester City but Shakter have shown some great football so this will be an interesting tie and should be a very good game.

Milan v Barcelona – When these two met last year it was a fantastic game with Barca showing there attacking threat with lots of chances but Milan showed they were no push overs by creating a few chances them self and were very clinical.

Real Madrid v Manchester United – This is the game of the tie with Christiano Ronaldo returning to Old Trafford where he made his career and these two teams are very tightly matched so it should be an absolute cracker of a game.

Valencia v PSG - PSG will probably be expecting to win this one with all the quality players they have brought in and they are sure to strengthen in January.

Porto v Malaga - Both sides will think they can win this both have quality players so it should be a very interesting game.

Manchester City Vs Manchester United : Are you Red Or Blue?

Dec 6, 2012   //   by markus   //   News  //  Comments Off

This weekend of football in the Barcleys Premier League brings us to the blue side of Manchester as City host United in the Derby that has proven to be very dramatic and entertaining ever since Man City got their new owners and last year Manchester United lost out to the Premiership with a late dramatic goal from Aguero that will give United the fuel to get revenge over their noisy neighbours.

Man City are the only team to have not lost a game today but they have got draws where they were expected to win which leaves them in second place in the league. Also they recently where knocked out of the Champions league and didn’t even finish in the Europa league spot so now there main focus will be on there defence of the premier league. Their form has not been as good as it has been but they haven’t lost yet which suggests they are still a force to be reckoned with.

Man United are sitting pretty at the top but their has been a question mark over their defence this season after having to come back from behind so many times. But the fact that they have been able to come back so many times shows the character and determination to win the game, it also shows how good a team they are with teams ‘parking the bus’ but they still have the quality to find ways around it and their summer signing Van Persie has been Electric and is currently the premier league top scorer. Also a return from Vidic will be sure to tighten up there defence.

We think this will be a close game but Man City haven’t been in form recently so i predict that Man united will edge this game and ruin Man city’s Fantastic home record.
